Editorial Standards

Loopliner is published by Dizzus GmbH (Zug, Switzerland) and covers electronic music across Asia. These standards describe how articles are actually produced here, which is not how a traditional newsroom works.

How Articles Are Produced

Articles on Loopliner are researched and written by an AI system, from published sources. There is no newsroom, no reporters on the ground, and no individual journalists behind the bylines. Every article is signed Loopliner, and editorial responsibility rests with the publisher.

We say this plainly because you deserve to know what you are reading, and because pretending otherwise would make everything else on this page worthless.

Sourcing Rules

The system operates under fixed rules, enforced on every article:

  1. Every named fact comes from a fetched source. Lineups, dates, ticket prices, venues and quotes must appear on a page the system actually read. Nothing is inferred or filled in from memory.
  2. Primary sources first. Official festival, venue, label and artist channels rank above secondary reporting. Guides require several independent sources.
  3. Uncertainty is stated, not smoothed over. When something is unconfirmed or sources disagree, the article says so instead of picking the more convenient version.
  4. Media is real or absent. Images are official artwork and press material, or photographs used with their licence and credit. We do not publish AI-generated images. Embedded audio and video are links to the rightsholder's own posts.

Independence

  • Coverage cannot be bought. No promoter, label or venue pays to appear, and none of them sees an article before it is published.
  • Sponsored content, if it ever runs, is labelled as sponsored and visually distinct.
  • Ticket links and official event links are provided as a convenience to readers, not as paid placements.

Corrections

An automated process makes mistakes, and getting told about them is how they get fixed.

  • Typos and wording are fixed silently.
  • Factual corrections are made in place and noted at the bottom of the article with the date.
  • If you are an artist, promoter or photographer and something here concerns you, whether it is a factual error or an image you own, contact us and it will be corrected or removed.
  • We do not delete articles to hide errors.
