Amsterdam Music Festival 2026 returns to the legendary Johan Cruijff ArenA as the definitive highlight of the Amsterdam Dance Event, transforming the home of Ajax into the world's largest indoor rave for a nine-hour musical marathon. And this year the stakes are even higher than usual.
The 2026 edition is a very big moment as it celebrates 30 years of ADE. Thirty years of Amsterdam Dance Event. One stadium. One night that cloess the whole thing out. AMF has always been the final statement of ADE week and in 2026 it's the biggest statement the festival has ever made.
What AMF is
The Amsterdam Music Festival is an electronic dance music event that takes place during the Amsterdam Dance Event in mid-October in Amsterdam. Since the second edition in 2014, the main event has taked place in the Johan Cruijff ArenA. During the AMF, the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs is announced and several prizes are rewarded, among which the award for the number one DJ in the world.
That last detail is the one that makes AMF different from every other stadium electronic musics event on this planet. The DJ Mag Top 100 announcement happens here. The number one DJ in the world is revealed inside the building on this night. Forty thousand people in the room when that happens. Its not just a festival. It's the moment the entire dance music industsry has been building toward all year.
Year after year AMF never fails to feature some of the world's finest DJs. Witness some of the brightest minds in dance music all under one roof for one night only. The history of artists who have headlined this event reads like a timeline of electronic music itself.
Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, David Guetta. The list goes on and in 2026 it adds another chapter.
The 2026 Lineup
AMF returns to the Johan Cruijff ArenA in 2026 with a lineup featuring these artists:
The lineup:
- Afrojack
- Amelie Lens
- Armin van Buuren
- ARTBAT
- D-Block and S-te-Fan
- David Guetta
- Korolova
- Marlon Hoffstadt

Eight artists. Nine hours. One stadium. The range across this lineup is what AMF has always done best, covering the full spectrum from hard-hitting mainstage energy to deeper melodic and underground sounds, all under one roof in a single historic night.
The Headline Moment
David Guetta and The Monolith Show
After a six-year hiatus from the AMF stage, David Guetta returns to the iconic Johan Cruijff ArenA bringing his groundbreaking full-scale stadium concept The Monolith Show to Amsterdam during the 30 years ADE anniversary edition.

The Monolith Show features a massive vertical LED monolith, 3D mapping, and an entirely new Future Rave production, transforming the ArenA into a spectacular audiovisual world. Guetta is set to embark on a run of monumental shows across Europe in 2026, including three consecutive sold-out nights at the Stade de France for 60,000 fans per night. A six-year absence from the AMF stage ending with the most ambitious production of his career on the 30th anniversary of ADE. That's a return worth talking about.

Supporting House Music Lineup:
Armin van Buuren
Armin van Buuren at AMF is always one of the most anticipated moments of ADE week. He has headlined the event multiple times across its history and his connection to this room, this crowd, and this night runs deeper than almost any other artist on the bill. The Johan Cruijff ArenA and Armin van Buuren have relationship that goes back to some of the greatest nights in Dutch electronic music history. In 2026 that relationship continues.

Korolova
Korolova on the AMF bill is the booking nobody saw coming and everyone is excited for it. The Ukrainian melodic house producer has spent years building a devoted following through deeply emotional piano-driven records. October 24 could be the night that introduces her sound to the biggest audience of her career.

Afrojack
Making his massive return to the AMF stage for the first time since 2019, Afrojack is ready to remind Amsterdam exactly why he is a global dance music titan. As the Dutch powerhouse is notorious for bringing the most explosive big-room energy on the planet. Expect an absolute clinic in mainstage dominance as he blends his legendary classics with a fresh, genre-bending evolution that will have all 40,000 house headas in the ArenA moving together.
