Marking a defining new chapter for the label at the club in the heart of Ibiza Town Marina, the 23-week residency brings together house music pioneers, global icons, and a new generation of talent shaping the future of the genre. The tagline for 2026 is Defected Forever, celebrating over 25 years of togetherness on dancefloors around the world. That is not just marketing. That is a statement of intent.
The Venue
Since opening in 2022, Chinois Ibiza has built a reputation as one of the island's most respected clubs, prioritising exceptional sound quality to earn its title as the sonic temple of Ibiza, in turn fostering a community-driven atmosphere often lacking in the island's club landscape.
Defected CEO Wez Saunders said it plainly: "Defected's audience expects the very best in sound and atmosphere, and we believe that aligns perfectly with the values of Chinois. For me, it's a match made in heaven."
He is right. Defected and Chinois share the same DNA. Dancefloor first, community always, no compromise on sound. Putting them together for 23 consecutive Thursdays is the most natural pairing Ibiza has seen in a long time.
The Lineup
From Chicago originator Lil Louis and Detroit visionary Carl Craig, to future stars such as Olive F, D Stone, and Joella Jackson, right through to scene-defining figures Kerri Chandler, Kevin Saunderson, and Armand Van Helden, Defected continues its long-standing commitment to platforming house music culture in Ibiza.
Contemporary heavyweights Dennis Ferrer, Eats Everything, Jayda G, and Jonas Blue will bring peak-time energy to the Chinois dancefloor, while tastemakers including TSHA, Eliza Rose, Cinthie, and KILIMANJARO reflect the breadth of today's house landscape.
Defected residents and label mainstays including Sam Divine, Monki, Melé, Oden and Fatzo, Deetron, Riva Starr, Arielle Free, and Shermanology are also set to perform across the season.

&friends proved exactly what Chinois is capable of on Friday May 22, taking over the dancefloor alongside Sasson, Lehar, and Amòun:ka for one of the early standout nights of the 2026 season.
