FVTURE Bangkok's Dark Hyperclub Lands Klangkuenstler's OUTWORLD for January 2027
FVTURE Bangkok has not opened its doors since mid-February. The next date on its calendar belongs to Klangkuenstler's arena-scale OUTWORLD show, announced as the only Southeast Asia stop on the project's 2027 run.
FVTURE Bangkok has not opened its doors since mid-February, when Southeast Asia's self-billed first hyperclub went dark just seven weeks after its launch. The next confirmed date on its calendar belongs to someone else entirely. German techno producer Klangkuenstler is bringing his arena-scale OUTWORLD show to the 6,000-capacity room on January 23, 2027, an All Night Long set that marks the project's only Southeast Asia stop of the year.
A Debut Announced From Outside the Venue
The news came from OUTWORLD's own account, not FVTURE's. @outworld_ofc and @klangkuenstler posted the Bangkok date, tagging the venue rather than the other way around. That's a small detail, but it matters: as of Loopliner's last check on the venue, FVTURE's own channels had gone quiet since the February closure, with no posts about reopening or programming. This booking is the first outside confirmation that the room still has a future at all.
What OUTWORLD Actually Is
Klangkuenstler built OUTWORLD as an extension of his own sets: longer, harder and wrapped in a visual rig distinctive enough that it travels as its own production. Since launching in 2019, the concept has filled rooms well above typical club scale, including Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, Porto's Super Bock Arena and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. A stadium edition at Düsseldorf's Merkur Spiel-Arena is already on the 2027 calendar. Bangkok puts Thailand on that same list, Klangkuenstler's first time bringing the full concept to the country, and FVTURE's biggest confirmed booking since ARTBAT and Nakadia opened the place in December.
The Room Still Hasn't Explained Itself
FVTURE opened on the sixth floor of Bravo Mall on the RCA strip on December 30, 2025, with Asia's first L-Acoustics L2 and L2D rig, more than 40 subwoofers and 1,000 square metres of LED wrapped around a 6,000-capacity floor. Seven weeks later it closed, citing vague "renovations" that Loopliner reported in October had produced no reopening date, no statement and no activity on any of its channels. None of that has changed. What's changed is that an outside promoter now has a confirmed date inside a room that, as far as the public record shows, nobody is currently running.
Whether that means a quiet reopening is coming, or just that OUTWORLD booked the space directly and will deal with the logistics later, isn't something either party has said. Nine months after it opened as the region's biggest claimed room, FVTURE's actual operating status is still a question only the venue can answer, and it still hasn't.
