SG Lewis Went Independent And Booked His Best Summer Yet
SG Lewis ended his 11 year record deal, went fully independent on Forever Days, and booked UNVRS Ibiza twice and Knockdown Center New York. The summer belongs to him.
Eleven years. Four albums. One record deal. And on May 6 2026, it was over.
SG Lewis officially announced his transition to becoming a fully independent artist after fulfilling his four-album deal with PMR Records, a partnership that began back in 2014. For the first time in over a decade, Sam Lewis owns his music and answers to nobody. His new chapter involves releasing music exclusively through his own imprint, Forever Days, with a dedicated team built around a shared vision.
For an artist who has spent eleven years building one of the most versatile careers in modern electronic music, from co-writing Dua Lipa's Grammy-nominated Future Nostalgia to headlining clubs on three continents, this is the moment everything he built starts paying back on his own terms. The timing couldn't be better. The summer schedule he has assembled for 2026 is the best of his career.

Who He is And How He Got Here
Sam Lewis grew up in Reading, England, first playing guitar in bands before quickly moving into electronic production on his own. His love for the haunting sounds of Bon Iver and James Blake combined with the infectious club beats of The Neptunes and Timbaland inspired his early SoundCloud releases. When he moved to Liverpool he dipped his toes into club culture and scored a residency at the city's popular Chibuku, beginning his career as a DJ.
Since then he has built a reputation as one of the most versatile DJs in modern electronic music, known for blending house, disco, funk, and soulful pop into high-energy club sets. Behind the scenes he co-written Dua Lipa's Grammy-nominated number one album Future Nostalgia and produced Dave's seminal breakout track 100M's.
His most recent collaboration with Keinemusik, Be The One with Adam Port, is yet another example of his ability to move fluidly across genres. That record alone says everything about where SG Lewis sits in 2026. A pop producer who can make a Keinemusik record. A DJ who can close a club and headline a festival. The range is rare.

Forever Days: The Label He Built While Still Signed
His deep connection to club culture led to the creation of Forever Days, a club-centric imprint in the dance music world. Designed as a space to push creative boundaries beyond the sound of his solo artist project, the label has already unveiled collaborations witih Chloé Caillet, DJ Seinfeld, and Loods, and thrown day-to-night parties in London, New York, Ibiza, and Tulum.
In his own words: "For a long time now I have wanted to create an outlet for the club-focused music I am constantly making and a platform to champion artists I love. Music made strictly for the dancefloor, with the sole ambition of creating more of those euphoric moments."
Now that he's independent, Forever Days is no longer a side project. It's the whole operation.

The 2026 Ibiza Schedule
The summer schedule tells you exactly where SG Lewis is positioned right now.
On June 8 he plays John Summit's Experts Only opening night at UNVRS Ibiza alongside Eliza Rose b2b Sally C and Fallon, one of the most anticipated opening nights on the island. On July 25 he returns to UNVRS for Elrow Ibiza alongside Hot Since 82 b2b Prunk, Melanie Ribbe, and Melé.
John Summit's Experts Only and Elrow on the same island in the same summer. UNVRS is the most exciting new venue in Ibiza and SG Lewis is booked into it twice. That isn't a coincidence. That's a statement about where he sits in the house music world in 2026.
He also returns to Knockdown Center in New York for back-to-back headlining sets in The Ruins on August 21 and 22, continuing what has become an annual tradition in one of the most beloved outdoor spaces in the city. He also plays Osheaga in Montreal on August 2, one of North America's most prestigious summer festivals.

Why Right Now Is The Moment
SG Lewis has promised his fans that this turning point is just the beginning, with more music coming through Forever Days both from himself and from other artists on the label. He also has plans to take Forever Days on tour and share the collective by curating parties around the world.
Eleven years of building. A catalog of work he is now proud of and finally owns. A label that has already thrown parties on four continents. And a summer schedule that puts him in front of the right crowds at the right venues at exactly the right moment. SG Lewis didn't need a major label to get here. He built the whole thing himself and now he gets to keep it.
Forever Days. Independent. 2026. The summer starts now.
