Why Showcation 2026 Is the Only Festival Worth Calling in Sick For This May
We covered Showcation 2026 and honestly it sounds like the most fun anyone has had at a festival in years. House music, live drums, Jersey club and zero fourteen dollar water bottles hopefully. Read it.
Secure your spot now
You know that feeling when you are at a regular festival, standing in mud, paying fourteen dollars for a water bottle, watching a DJ you have already seen three times this year do the exact same set? Showcation looked at that experience, laughed, and built something completely different. May 15 to 17, 2026, Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, Maryland. Mark it. Tell your boss you have a family emergency. Work it out.
What Is Showcation?
Showcation mashes together everything good about sleep-away summer camp, everything electric about a music festival, and everything chaotic about a wild night out, then hands you the weekend and says figure it out. You are not standing in a field with 40,000 strangers who all got the same algorithmic recommendation. You are competing in Camp Olympics at noon and somehow ending up at a secret house rave at 4am with people who are now your ride or die. The lineup itself is built entirely around discovery over comfort, stacking forward-thinking electronic energy alongside artists that most festivals would never even consider booking. Showcation has been doing this for years, and somehow keeps getting weirder and better with every edition.

UNIIQU3 Is the Queen and the Floor Will Know It
UNIIQU3 started as a vocalist grinding through the Newark club scene, built herself into a full producer and DJ, and then took Jersey club music to stages across Australia, South America, and everywhere else on the planet with a decent sound system. She built her own lane from scratch and refused to wait for permission. The sound she carries has roots in Baltimore club, Chicago footwork, Miami bass, and the house music that was already living and breathing in Newark's after-hours clubs during the 1980s. Her Showcation set is going to be the one where people text their friends mid-song in all caps with zero punctuation. She is not background music. She is the reason you lose your shoes and do not care even a little bit.

Narasimha Is About to Make You Feel Things You Cannot Explain
This is the booking that has people doing a double take. Narasimha is a Los Angeles based artist who performs world house music with live djembe drumming, pulling from West African, Latin American, and Indian musical traditions and turning it into something that feels both ancient and locked into the present moment. He has been called the standout DJ addition to Showcation's main music lineup this year, and one listen explains everything. This is the set where you make eye contact with a stranger across the crowd and you both just slowly nod because language has completely failed you. Spiritual damage. The kind you actually want. Bring water and prepare to stare into the middle distance for a while.

The Rest Is Also Chaotic and We Mean That as Praise
More than fifteen up-and-coming DJs from across the East Coast fill out the bill, including New York selectors Sarindipity, Melman, and Dendi's Dad, alongside Maryland locals House of Jane, Jon Eye, and Camila Benach. The Jellyfish Collective returns with their late night soundcamp, an underwater fantasy of immersive lasers, atmospheric lights, and deep driving beats that kicks off precisely when most people's nights are technically supposed to end.
Beyond music, the weekend also includes a 2000s themed house party, a Punk Rock Battle of the Bands, themed pool parties, live band karaoke, and somehow a Mario Kart Grand Prix. A Mario Kart Grand Prix. At a house music festival. In the woods. In Maryland. Its perfect.
Showcation 2026 is 21 and over, offers tent and RV camping on site, and runs May 15 to 17 at Camp Ramblewood in Darlington, Maryland. Tickets are live at showcation.live. The only thing worse than going is definitely not going.
