Christian and Steve Martinez have been doing this since before they were old enough to legally walk into the clubs they were already running. Two decades later the Bronx born brothers are back home, and they brought the biggest tour of their careers with them.

The Martinez Brothers have launched their first ever North American tour, a 16 week run bringing their unmistakable rhythm, energy, and club sensibility to 19 major cities across the US, Canada, and Mexico, culminating in a massive headline performance at SummerStage in New York City's Central Park on June 13. Four months. Nineteen cities. One moment that has been a very long time coming.

From The Bronx To The World

To understand why this tour means so much you need to understand where Christian and Steve Martinez came from. This is not just a story about two DJs going on the road. This is a story about faith, family, and two kids from the Bronx who loved music so much they built their entire lives around it.

Steven and Chris were introduced to music by their father, a pastor and former Paradise Garage regular who exposed them to a world where music was more than just sound. It was a culture that brought people together. He got them playing in the church band, introduced them to jazz, soul, and disco, and eventually bought them their first DJ kit, a Numark CD player and mixer for 300 dollars. From there the brothers spent their weekends digging for records on the streets of New York City, living and breathing the music.

Their big break came through Dennis Ferrer, the legendary house music producer who grew up three blocks away from them in the Bronx. After connecting on MySpace in 2005, Ferrer became one of their most important mentors, pushing them to finish tracks, refine their productions, and book gigs at notable New York venues including the iconic Shelter club where they immersed themselves in the sounds of Louie Vega and Timmy Regisford. These were the rooms that shaped them.

The Rise To The Top

Their major festival debut came at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Los Angeles in 2009, performing to a crowd of over 90,000. But it was Ibiza that truly changed everything. In 2011 a last minute residency at DC10 opened every door. They spent years there alongside Seth Troxler, Apollonia, and Jamie Jones, growing as artists and building the relationships that would define their careers.

In 2014 Mixmag named them DJs of the Year, writing that no other DJ or duo encapsulated house music that year like the crown princes of DC10. That same year they launched Cuttin Headz, now one of the most respected labels in underground electronic music with over 50 releases and a roster that includes Art Department, Guti, Loco Dice, and Mochakk.

What Is Orbita And Why It Matters

This is not a standard DJ tour and Orbita is not a standard concept. Translated from Spanish as Orbit, it is the debut of a fully immersive club concept designed to transport audiences into a world curated entirely by the brothers themselves. Expect retro futuristic space inspired production, flying saucers, heavy laser work, and custom lighting that transforms each venue into its own orbit.

Each Orbita night is built around movement, connection, and community. It is more than a show. It is a world of its own. Half of the 19 dates feature the full Orbita production while the remaining shows spotlight the raw underground energy that has always defined who they are.

Welcome to the universe of Orbita

In their own words this tour is about connection. About bringing the spirit of the Bronx and the sound of Cuttin Headz to every corner of North America. That is not just a press quote. That is everything they have ever stood for.

The tour launched February 6 in Phoenix and has already hit Los Angeles, Denver, Salt Lake City, EDC Mexico in Mexico City, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Boston, Montreal, Washington DC, Houston, Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, and Philadelphia.

The final and biggest stop of the entire run is New York City at Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage on June 13. Coming home to close out the biggest North American tour of their careers at an outdoor show in Central Park is the kind of full circle moment that does not need any extra explanation. Two kids from the Bronx who started playing church events and local parties are now headlining Central Park. That is the whole story right there.

Tickets are still available for the remaining dates. Do not let this one pass you by.
