Jeffrey Sutorius won back the legal right to perform as Dash Berlin in January, five years after losing it. The reclaimed name plays Kuala Lumpur on October 30, its first show there in a decade.

Dates: October 30, 2026 Venue: XOX Arena, The Arch Galeries, Kuala Lumpur Tickets: RM288 to RM7,500, through Collective Minds Asia

For most of the past five years, Jeffrey Sutorius wasn't legally allowed to call himself Dash Berlin. He built the alias, filled festival mainstages with it for a decade, then lost the right to use his own stage name in a fight with his former producers. On October 30, it plays Kuala Lumpur for the first time since he got it back.

A Five-Year Fight Over One Name

The split happened in 2018, when Sutorius broke from Dash Berlin's producers, Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn. He performed under the name again between 2019 and 2021, lost it a second time, and spent the years after touring trance festivals under his own name while the project he built continued without him. The Court of Appeal in The Hague, case IEF 23235, settled it for good at the end of January, returning the name to Sutorius outright.

He tested it live for the first time on July 11, at the Ultra Europe mainstage in Split. "Lonely Man," a single with Simon Ward, followed six days later, his first release as Dash Berlin since the ruling. Kuala Lumpur is one of the first Asian stops since, and the gap is not small: the city hasn't had a Dash Berlin show in ten years.

A Malaysian Undercard, Not Just an Import

The Return of Dash Berlin lands inside XOX Arena, the 5,550-capacity concert hall built into The Arch Galeries' Hall B, with Olly James in support. The opening slots are local and not filler. Mister Ariffin, a regular on Malaysia's festival circuit since his Pinkfish Countdown sets, and Digital Rush play first.

The venue has hosted this kind of booking before. Sara Landry headlined TELETECH's Kuala Lumpur debut there on September 25, making this its second major international techno and trance booking in six weeks. The Arch Galeries complex connects directly to the TRX MRT station by skywalk.

General admission starts at RM288 early bird, rising to RM358 at the door. The Fan Stage tier, with its own bar, is RM458, and a ten-person VIP table with bottle service runs RM7,500. Tickets are through Collective Minds Asia.
