Sara Landry's early bird tickets for a club night in a country she's played exactly once sold out before the local support was even confirmed. That's the kind of pull TELETECH is betting on for its first Malaysia date: the American DJ known online as hard techno's "High Priestess" headlines XOX Arena at The Arch Galeries in Kuala Lumpur on Friday, September 25, alongside Dutch producer OGUZ.
A Brand That Skips Nobody
TELETECH built its name on exactly this kind of booking: hard techno and rawstyle heavyweights dropped into rooms that don't usually see them, from Manchester's Aviva Studios to a Boiler Room stage. Malaysia is new territory for the brand, but not for its headliner. Sara Landry already played Kuala Lumpur once, when promoter Pinkfish Festival (the local partner behind this show too) booked her for its New Year's countdown at Sunway Lagoon. That's a very different room from a 2,000-plus warehouse-style arena built around a single artist. This time she's the reason people are flying in, not a name on a countdown poster.
What makes the booking land is the calendar around it. Landry spent early 2026 running a Hekate Resistance stage takeover at Ultra Miami, then a back to back with Amelie Lens two days later at the same festival. She turns up at Coachella for what her own tour poster calls "Sara Landry's Blood Oath," plays Movement in her adopted hometown of Detroit, and closes out the summer at Bonnaroo. She's ranked in DJ Mag's Top 100 and runs her own label, Hekate Records, out of Amsterdam. Southeast Asia barely features on that itinerary most years. One Friday night in KL is the exception, not a detour on the way to somewhere bigger.
The Rest of the Bill Is the Actual Story
Strip the headliner out and this is still worth watching, because the undercard is entirely Malaysian and Southeast Asian: Glasgow's Sikoti flies in, but Babayaga, FBSJ and Suhsi are all local. That's not filler booking. KL's hard techno and rawstyle circuit has been grinding out weekly nights all year, from gabber sets at Over & Above to hard techno takeovers at Volt and Red Warehouse, mostly for crowds in the low hundreds. Sharing a stage with a headliner this size, in front of what's shaping up to be the biggest hard techno crowd Kuala Lumpur has drawn all year, is the kind of exposure a local DJ doesn't buy.

XOX Arena sits inside The Arch Galeries in the city centre, a short taxi or Grab from Bukit Bintang. Doors and set times aren't public yet, only the date. General admission runs in phases starting at RM218 now that the RM188 early bird has sold out, climbing to RM348 by the final phase; VIP starts at RM298 and the VIP Boiler Stage, right at the DJ booth, is RM488. All of it goes through pinkfishfestival.com or Ticketmelon, and prices exclude booking fees. It's an 18-plus show.
