Dom Dolla Is Coming To New York This October And Queens Is Ready

Flushing Meadows Corona Park is not a small venue. The park that hosted two World's Fairs, the 1964 US Open of Tennis, and the New York Mets for decades is one of the most iconic outdoor spaces in New York City. The Unisphere, the 140-foot steel globe that has defined the Queens skyline since 1964, sits right in the middle of it. And on Saturday October 3, Dom Dolla is taking it over.

The Man Behind The Show

Born in Manila and raised in outback northern Australia, Dom Dolla discovered dance music when his mother handed him a copy of Basement Jaxx's 2001 album Rooty while on holiday in Denpasar. In his late teens he spent weekends hosting pub discos and DJing at parties whilst working as a graphic designer during the week. In 2015 he was encouraged to quit his day job to pursue his obsession with music and production.

What happened next is one of the great stories in modern electronic music. Dom emerged with a string of critically acclaimed club hits including Define, Take It, San Frandisco, Pump The Breaks, Moving Blind, and Strangers. In 2022 he released Miracle Maker featuring Clementine Douglas, which was named BBC Radio 1's Hottest Record in the World, propelling him into his global breakout moment.

Rolling Stone named him Best New Artist, GQ called him Solo Artist of the Year, Billboard Dance listed him as One to Watch, and he appeared on the cover of DJ Mag. At the 2026 EDMAs he was nominated for DJ of the Year alongside John Summit, Cloonee, Disco Lines, Diplo, Anyma, Subtronics, David Guetta, and Sub Focus. A graphic designer from Melbourne who quit his day job in 2015 is now being nominated for DJ of the Year at the biggest electronic music awards in the world. The pipeline does not get more unlikely or more inspiring than that.

Why This Show Is Different

Dom Dolla has played New York before. He has played Electric Zoo, Brooklyn Mirage, and venues across the city. But Flushing Meadows Corona Park is a different kind of statement. This is an outdoor show in one of the most historically significant public spaces in the five boroughs, with the Unisphere as the backdrop and Queens as the audience.

As part of The Bowery Presents' ongoing commitment to the communities its events call home, a portion of ticket revenue from the show will be donated to the Alliance for Flushing Meadows Corona Park, the nonprofit dedicated to supporting free public programming, maintenance, and preservation of Queens' flagship park. A house music show that gives back to the park it takes over. That is the kind of detail that separates a good event from a great one.

October In New York

There is a specific kind of magic that comes with an outdoor show in New York in October.

The summer heat has broken, the city is alive in a completely different way, and the light in Queens on an afternoon that runs into evening is something that no other city in the world replicates. Flushing Meadows is already one of the great outdoor spaces in New York. On October 3 it becomes something else entirely.

Dom Dolla has been building toward moments like this his whole career. From 125 shows globally in twelve months before COVID, to Coachella, Tomorrowland, and EDC Las Vegas, to over 300 million streams across his releases, the trajectory has always been pointing toward the kind of headline outdoor show that becomes a defining moment. October 3 in Queens is that moment for New York.
