EDC Thailand Finalizes Its December Lineup, and Phuket Gets a New Beach Pre-Party
Insomniac's October 1 announcement locks in Charlotte de Witte, Jamie Jones and Vintage Culture for EDC Thailand's third Phuket edition, plus a new Hotel EDC beach pre-party the night before gates open.

Six stages wasn't enough room to put Charlotte de Witte and Martin Garrix on the same one, so Insomniac didn't try. On October 1, the promoter closed out EDC Thailand's third-edition lineup with a full roster across six separate stages for December 18-20 at Rhythm Park, Phuket, and quietly added a seventh night: a beach pre-party at Hotel EDC the evening before gates even open.
The finalized bill reads like two different festivals sharing a site map. kineticFIELD gets the pop-EDM marquee names: Martin Garrix, Tiësto, DJ Snake, Dom Dolla, Above & Beyond, Andy C. One stage over, neonGARDEN, hosted by Insomniac's techno imprint Factory 93, goes underground: Charlotte de Witte, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Boys Noize, VTSS, CamelPhat, Vintage Culture. Add Green Velvet B2B Steve Angello, Worship, Subtronics, Paul van Dyk and Odd Mob, and that's before the "more to be announced" Insomniac always leaves itself room for.
EDC Thailand 2026 Dates: December 18-20, 2026 Venue: Rhythm Park, Laguna Phuket Tickets: GA 3-day ฿10,490 / VIP 3-day ฿16,490, 20+ only, via thailand.edc.com
The new piece is the pre-party. According to EDM.com and EDM House Network, Hotel EDC's beachfront takeover kicks off the weekend a night early with Mau P, Loco Dice, FIFI and Baggi, reportedly at XANA Beach Club on December 17. Insomniac's own release is vaguer on the venue specifics, describing a broader "Phuket Takeover Week" of official pre-parties, beach events and after-parties around the city rather than naming one room. Mau P isn't on the official December 18-20 bill Insomniac released, so the beach set looks like its own separate booking, not a preview of his main-stage set. Either way, it's the kind of scheduling that makes the ฿89,000 Hotel EDC package (official themed rooms at Angsana Laguna Phuket, pool parties, shuttles to Rhythm Park) look less like an upsell and more like the only way to catch everything in one trip.

This is the festival's third Thailand edition in three years, and it's grown fast enough to outpace its own venue. The January 2025 debut, at Boat Avenue Lakefront in Bang Tao, drew roughly 150,000 people over three nights, more than 50,000 of them flying in from outside Thailand. The January 2026 edition moved to the bigger Rhythm Park site specifically to fit the crowd, roughly doubling the festival footprint. December's edition stays at Rhythm Park. Thai promoter Future Vibes runs the show locally while Insomniac handles production and stage design, under a five-year partnership between the two, a long runway for a festival that's existed for less than two years.
For a festival this stacked with global headliners, the stage worth watching if you're actually from the region might be BOOMBOX, EDC Thailand's platform for emerging local and regional acts. GUDFELLA, the Cebu-born, LA-based producer who put out his debut single on Insomniac Records in August, is on the December bill, one of the clearer signs yet that Insomniac is treating its Thailand stop as more than a tour date to plant a flag on.
Tickets, including GA and VIP three-day passes, have been on sale since June and remain available at thailand.edc.com. The festival is strictly 20 and over.
