KAJE Bali 2026: Blackout Agency Debuts an Asia-First Festival in the Highlands
Blackout Agency debuts KAJE at Bagus Agro Pelaga this September: three days of house, techno and Indonesian rare groove built around an all-Asian lineup led by Dekadenz, Sunju Hargun and Ouissam.

Bali gets a new festival this September, and it is not another beach club takeover. KAJE, the debut event from Blackout Agency, founded by Singapore-rooted DJ Zach Kim (better known as Zig Zach), moves the party inland to Bagus Agro Pelaga, an 18-hectare working eco-farm in the island's central highlands.
The pitch is deliberately different from the Uluwatu cliffside circuit: a rougher, more adventurous take on nightlife, one that skips the bottle-service gloss and puts the region's own selectors at the top of the bill.
The Lineup
KAJE's first wave is entirely Asian, a statement in a market where international headliners usually do the heavy lifting.
Confirmed so far: Dekadenz, the Jakarta collective of Jonathan Kusuma, Aditya Permana and Ridwan; Bangkok mainstay Sunju Hargun, one of Thailand's most respected house and techno exports; Hanoi-based Ouissam, a fixture of Vietnam's underground circuit; Singapore's Daytime Dancing and Hammy; plus Indonesian selectors Zoot, Danny Satria and Bagvs. The agency promises more names to come.
The Concept
Programming follows the sun. Daytime belongs to live acts, ambient, disco, funk, soul and Indonesian rare groove, with a listening session curated by Miller Records. From sunset to sunrise the farm switches to house and techno.
Art is built into the site rather than bolted on: Didin Jirot's sculptural piece Totem Of Frequency, plus works from Balinese collective Kala Patha and Singaporean artist Reza Hasni. On-site accommodation covers 48 resort rooms and a campsite for those going the full three days.
Why It Matters
Southeast Asia's club calendar is crowded with imported brands, but 2026 keeps producing home-grown answers: Malaysia's SANCTUARY by Evolution, Thailand's maturing festival circuit, and now KAJE in Bali. An all-regional bill headlined by Jakarta, Bangkok, Hanoi and Singapore artists would have been hard to imagine five years ago. If it lands, KAJE becomes another proof point that the region's house and techno scene can carry its own weight.
