There are club nights and then there are institutions. Solid Grooves at DC10 Ibiza is firmly in the second category and the summer of 2026 is about to remind everyone exactly why.
Solid Grooves is back at DC10 Ibiza for the 2026 summer season, taking over the island's iconic terrace every Thursday in what is a massive 18 week marathon kicking off on June 4th and running all the way through to the closing on October 1st. Eighteen Thursdays. One venue. One sound. And this year there is a twist that nobody was expecting.
The No Phones Policy That Has Everyone Talking

This is the detail that has been flying around social since the announcement dropped and it deserves its own conversation. Solid Grooves helmed by Michael Bibi and PAWSA has announced that it will operate a no phones policy for the entirety of its residency at DC10 Ibiza this summer across all 18 dates from June 4 to October 1.
This is not a small decision. In an era where every DJ set is immediately dissected through a screen, where the first instinct of most people in a club is to reach for their phone, Bibi is saying no. Put it away. Be here. Feel this.
The no phones policy was introduced at selected events last year including the closing party on October 2, and Bibi described the experience as beautiful, saying he had honestly never felt energy like it, which led to the decision to continue the policy for the entire 2026 season. He said he was trying to recreate the old essence of Ibiza before phones and distractions took over. And having felt what that room becomes when everyone is actually present, he couldn't go back.
The policy doesn't allow the use of phones to capture photos or videos inside the venue and bans flash photography entirely. Last year disposable film cameras and Polaroid cameras were made available at some events and Solid Grooves has yet to confirm whether that will return for 2026. Either way, the message is claer. You come to Solid Grooves to dance, not to document.
What Is Solid Grooves
Founded by Michael Bibi, Solid Grooves has built a cult following around its own distinct signature sound of rolling deep tech, turning Thursday nights into a roadblock after its move to DC10 Ibiza.

This isn't a party that relies on big name headliners and flashy production to fill the room. It relies on music. The Garden setting at DC10 provides the stripped back open air environment that suits the Solid Grooves sound perfectly, deep driving house and techno with no frills attached. Planes roar overhead from the neighbouring airport. The terrace fills with people who are there for one reason and one reason only. The basslines are wobbly, the beats are solid, and every Thursday feels like the only place in the world worth being.
Last summer the party welcomed ANOTR, Archie Hamilton, Bassel Darwish, Beltran, Ben Sterling, Blackchild, Chasewest, Dennis Cruz, Dungeon Meat, Hector, Oden and Fatzo, Sonja Moonear, Silvie Loto, and Toman among its guest roster. While the full 2026 guest lineup is still being kept under wraps, you can expect the same calibre of underground talent that has made this residency one of the most respected on the island.
Why DC10 Is The Perfect Home
There's a reason Solid Grooves keeps coming back to DC10 and there is a reason the crowds keep following. DC10 traces its history back to 1986 when brothers Sito and Antonio Lara bought a disused aircraft hangar and converted it into a discreet makeshift dancefloor for small gatherings of local partygoers. Decades later it remains distinctly different from the VIP and production heavy experience of Ibiza's superclubs. Underground is the very essence of DC10 and that's exactly what Solid Grooves is built on.
The terrace at DC10 is one of those spaces that feels magical when it's working at full capacity. The open air, the planes overhead, the sun going down over the crowd, and the music rolling through everything. It's not polished. It's not designed for social media. It's designed for dancing and for the past decade it has been doing exactly that better than almsot anywhere else on the island.

Why 2026 Is The Year To Go
If you have been thinking about an Ibiza trip this summer, Solid Grooves has just given you your reason to go on a Thursday. Solid Grooves returns with 18 dates running every Thursday from June 4 through to the closing party on October 1, with Bibi remaining the constant joined each week by a rotation of guests who fit the Solid Grooves sound.
Eighteen weeks of the best underground house and techno on the island, in one of the most iconic outdoor spaces in club music history, with a no phones policy that is going to make every single night feel like something you will remember for years. That is not a promise most residencies can make. Solid Grooves is making it.
