This is the Ruback collab the scene needed right now.
Stop everything you are doing. Ruback, Be No Rain and 1Line just dropped Wherever You Are on ERRORR and your speakers deserve this right now. Go listen now.
Imagine. You are three songs deep into a set, the floor is packed, your drink is sweating your hand, and then something hits that makes everyone around you go quiet for a second before losing their minds. That is the energy Wherever You Are just walked in with. Ruback, Be No Rain, and 1Line finally did it. The collab is out on ERRORR and it didn't come to play nice.

Hol' up let's talk about who is in the room first cause this lineup is stacked in a way that shouldn't be real. Ruback is the alias that Dubdogz run when they want to go somewhere darker and more cinematic. If you've heard Dune or DEEPER or REALITY you already know what this project does to a speaker system. ERRORR has been their home base and the label consistently put out music that sounds like it was made for people who take the dancefloor very seriously and also probably cry a little at festivals sometimes. No shame. That is the sweet spot.

"Three distinct creative voices in one track. And somehow it all sounds like it was always supposed to exist."
Be No Rain showing up like he owns the place
Be No Rain is not a newcomer to high profile collabs. This guy's voice has been everywhere lately and for very good reason. He showed up on Tale Of Us and Kas:st's Hold Me To The Light and people never really recovered from that. Then Armin Van Buuren called. Then Camelphat and Fideles called. The track Night After Night that came out of that last session has over 50 million cumulative streams across platforms and was being played in sets by Tiesto and Anyma and David Guetta like it was oxygen.
His voice does something that is hard to explain without sounding completely unhinged but basically it feels like it reaches into your chest and reorganises things. On Wherever You Are that voice lands in a production landscape that was clearly built for exactly this moment.

1Line and the art of not needing to be loud about it
1Line is the kind of producer who makes other producers go "wait how did they do that". The catalog tells the whole story. Releases across ZAMNA, Lelantus, Be Free Recordings, and ERRORR. Melodic sensibility paired with sound design that is precise in a way that feels almost unfair. In this trio 1Line is the connective tissue, the part that makes Ruback and Be No Rain sound like they were always supposed to be in the same room together.

What does it sound like though
Where You Are is the record that earns its emotional payoff by making you wait for it. The synths layer in like they have a point to prove. The bass knows exactly when to step back and exactly when to come back and wreck everything. Be No Rain's vocals thread through the whole arrangement like they own the place. Damn right they do. ERRORR's fingerprints are all over the DNA of this thing and that cinematic quality the label has always chased is here in full force. This ain't no four minute track. This is a WHOLE MOMENT.
ERRORR as a label has been building toward releases like this one for a while. They've gone from underground cult status to putting out collabs with Infected Mushroom and the actual legend Raja Ram without losing any of the edge that made people care about them in the first place. Wherever You Are feels like a new chapter for the label. A very loud one.
There are a lot of tracks that come out every single week and most of them are fine. This one is not fine. This one is the track your friend sends you at 2am with zero context and you understand right away. This one is the reason you got into this music in the first place.
