Tomorrowland to Bring Back ‘The Avicii Tribute’ Experience
15 years after his MainStage debut, the festival brings back an immersive installation featuring original artifacts, remastered sets, and an exclusive collection.
Tomorrowland has announced it will once again host The Avicii Tribute Experience at its 2026 Belgium edition, marking 15 years since the Swedish producer's first MainStage performance in 2011. The 144-square-meter immersive installation will feature original artifacts from Avicii's personal collection exhibited outside the Avicii Experience Museum in Stockholm for the first time alongside an exclusive audiovisual piece, remastered live sets in Spatial Audio, and a limited-edition merchandise collection.

The experience was first launched in 2025 to commemorate ten years since Avicii's final Tomorrowland appearance. Due to strong interest from fans, Tomorrowland has decided to bring the tribute back for 2026.
What's Include in the Tribute
The centerpiece is a large LED screen playing an exclusive film that weaves together iconic Tomorrowland moments, never-released studio sessions, and intimate behind-the-scenes footage. The piece is designed to show Avicii not just as a performer, but as a producer, songwriter, and creative architect.

The experience offers a perspective on Avicii not only as a performer but as a songwriter, producer, and musical visionary.
Original Artifacts from Stockholm Museum
For the first time, original items from Tim "Avicii" Bergling's personal collection will leave the Avicii Experience Museum in Stockholm. Several iconic pieces connected to his career and creative process will be on display, giving fans a rare glimpse into his world.

Remastered Live Sets in Spatial Audio
Avicii's 2012, 2014, and 2015 Tomorrowland sets have been remastered in Spatial Audio and will be available via Apple Music and the Tomorrowland App. The format allows listeners to hear the performances with a new sense of depth—instrument separation is clearer, crowd energy feels more present, and the overall experience comes closer to standing in the field.
A Capsule Collection Inspired by Sound Waves
Tomorrowland has produced an exclusive Avicii merchandise line for the 2026 edition. The designs take visual cues from sound waves and the Doppler effect, translating his musical legacy into wearable form. The collection includes limited pieces that will be sold both online and at a dedicated on-site shop within the tribute space.

Avicii first played Tomorrowland in 2011, premiering "Levels" before its official release. He returned in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, with each set expanding his audience and cementing his place in the festival's history.
After his pass away in 2018, festivalgoers honored him during Nicky Romero's MainStage set, spreading a giant Swedish flag bearing his image across the crowd . Since then, "Levels" has been voted the number one track in Tomorrowland's Top 1000 three separate times, a rare achievement that speaks to the emotional connection fans still hold.
The Tim Bergling Foundation, established after his passing, continues to advocate for mental health awareness, particularly among young people and music professionals. The tribute serves as both a celebration of his work and a quiet acknowledgment of the pressures that accompanied his success.

The tribute is not a headline performance. There will be no live DJ set. Instead, it offers something quieter: a space to remember, to listen, and to engage with Avicii's work on his own terms.
