Ultra Music Festival took us all by storm this weekend, located at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, on the dates March 27 to March 29. Each day was filled with an incredible and crazy energy from the DJs and the festivalgoers that could be felt in the air.

With an audience of over 165,000 revelers, Bayfront Park was filled to the brim with great vibes. This massive turnout included international fans from more than 100 countries who traveled to Miami specifically for the three day event. Beyond the music, Ultra remains a cultural and economic powerhouse for the city, with the leaders showcasing the impact that Miami always has and continues to have, that being, it is the ultimate destination for electronic music globally.

Friday, March 27, ignited the weekend with electrifying beats as the atmosphere changed from the blazing Miami heat faded into a total blackout of the sky, illuminated only by the festival's pyrotechnics and lasers of the Main Stage. The music reached a fever pitch during the debut of Argentine mastermind Bizarrap. He completely set the tone of the event with his notorious tracks and also a surprise collab with Skrillex, that shocked everyone and showed that this Ultra Music Festival is not to miss.

The Lineup

The headliners are Swedish House Mafia (Sebastian Ingrosso & Steve Angello) and John Summit, with world-exclusive support from Amelie Lens, Sara Landry, Armin van Buuren, Bizarrap, Major Lazer, and others.

While there are many big names in the event during the weekend, there are a few that truly defined Ultra 2026. The festival floor covers the imaginable corner of the electronic world, yet this installment stands out for its heavy emphasis on "world exclusive" collaborations and immersive, relentless energy.

The momentum rose on Saturday as the Main stage revamped into a colossal, curated "Block Party" known for always being highly energetic was led by Swedish House Mafia and joined with Afrojack. The Swedish House Mafia reimagined performance was a historic cultural homecoming as they reunited with both Eric Prydz and Axwell. It was an epic moment as it marked a milestone, being that this was the first time the group has shared a stage like this in around 20 years, which helped to showcase their early roots and growth in the Swedish electronic movement as they played a 17 minute track featuring a few newer Swedish House Mafia music. In addition, the group also delivered a heart-warming Avicii tribute as they led the crowd in a soaring performance of "Wake Me Up" which left the whole Bayfront Park in a nostalgic atmosphere.

Meanwhile, at the RESTISTANCE stage, the world-exclusive debut of Amelie Lens B2B Sara Landy was an electrifying moment that a lot of people were anticipating in the weekend of the event. To say the least, they did not just meet expectations; they shattered them. As they are the reigning "Techno Queens" of the hard techno scene, their b2b set was a combination of Sara's gothic intensity and Amelie's high energy and rapid fire beats that always keeps the festivalgoers on their feet.

As the final day hit on 29 March, the music showed no signs of slowing down and countless DJs were pumping music for everyone from the start of the day to the end. At the afternoon, Afrojack and Marlon Hoffstadt held the Main Stage in control with their endless music and constant motion. Followed by, the infamous DJ Snake stepped back into the spotlight after a hiatus of four years, so he definitely made a comeback appearance at Ultra 2026 in the final day.

At The Cove stage, The Martinez Brothers, known for their music that displays roots in Latin-mixed with New York house, they took over the stage as they played one of their labels 'Cuttin' Headz" and other tracks which completely took over the scene as they closed out in the stage. This was overtaken by the debut pairing of Dennis Cruz and Seth Troxler as it encapsulated the Cruz's tech house and Troxler's underground style, which enabled Ultra to have a monumental atmosphere as the sun went down in Miami.

The road to the festival's grand finale ended was all in John Summit's hands as he took control of the Main Stage for the last part, he led the crowd to a spectacular 90 minute journey as it released his new project "CTRL ESCAPE", a masterful combination of house, tech house, and techno music that drew the curtains and ended the the Ultra 2026 festival with the signature Ultra fireworks enveloped the night as another Ultra Music Festival is history set in stone.
