What's on in Bangkok This Weekend: House and Techno, November 6-8

Transport turns 10 at Chang Chui, Mustache runs back-to-back nights with Jägermeister, and Animistic Beliefs brings its post-colonial club sound to Horn. Six picks for Bangkok's house and techno weekend of November 6-8.
Bangkok's calendar for November 6 to 8 includes a 10-year birthday party in a Chang Chui hangar, an industrial techno set near Khao San, and a Dutch techno duo landing in the middle of it all.
Transport Turns 10 With Rainbow Disco Club at Chang Chui
Saturday, November 7, from 12:00. Chang Chui Creative Park, Bangkok. Tickets via RA.
Transport marks a decade running parties out of Chang Chui's grounded-aeroplane arts park by flying in Japan's Rainbow Disco Club, the day-party institution known for stretching sets from afternoon light into the small hours. No single headliner carries this one; it's a full-day rotation built for people who show up at noon and don't leave.

Mustache Runs a Jägermeister Double Header
Friday, November 6, doors 22:00-03:30: AnDe Trois (Italy), supported by Dennis Lee. Saturday, November 7, 22:00: Sam Laxton. Mustache Bangkok, 2 Decho Road, Silom. Presale ฿350, door ฿500, one drink included before midnight on the Friday date.
Mustache is running two nights back to back under its Jägermeister partnership, which means a free shot before midnight on top of whatever's playing through the club's VOID system. Friday is AnDe Trois on driving, hypnotic techno; Saturday hands the booth to Sam Laxton. If you haven't been, our guide to Mustache Bangkok covers what to expect before you queue.
Animistic Beliefs Brings Its Post-Colonial Club Sound to Horn
Friday, November 6, 22:00. Horn, Bangkok. Tickets via RA.
The Dutch-based duo plays Horn, the Bangkok stop on the 13-city regional run Loopliner profiled. Expect the duo's usual mix of club rhythm pulled from Southeast Asian and diasporic reference points rather than a straight techno set.
Giant Swing at 12 x 12
Smaller and rougher than the rest of the weekend's picks: a room that rarely shows up on anyone's must-visit list but has a loyal Friday crowd for exactly that reason.
Hard Edge: Dark & Industrial Hard Techno at Culture Cafe
Friday, November 6, 20:00. Culture Cafe, Bangkok. Tickets via RA.
The heaviest option on the list. The3RD, Gunya and Damon Rider play a night billed exactly as it sounds: dark, industrial, hard techno, no detours into house. Bring earplugs if relentless hard techno isn't your usual Friday.
