Bangkok party collective Transport turns 10 by bringing Japan's Rainbow Disco Club to Chang Chui for a 12-hour party on November 7, with Pam Anantr among the names on the bill.

Ten Years, One Disco Ball

Transport turns 10 this year. The Bangkok collective is marking it by bringing Japan's Rainbow Disco Club to Chang Chui, the arts park with a grounded aeroplane bolted to its middle, for a 12-hour party on Saturday, November 7. Doors open at midday and don't shut till midnight.

Dates: Saturday, November 7, midday to midnight Venue: Chang Chui Creative Park, Bangkok Tickets: B900-1,400 via Megatix

Where It Started

Transport began in 2017, born from a longing for the dance music culture that had shaped them. At the time, Bangkok's scene was deep in hard techno and minimal, sharp edges and cold aircon that left nights feeling distant; the collective aimed for something softer, a dancefloor that felt like a hug, music carrying soul as much as rhythm. It's led by three DJs: Mr Mowgli, Seelie and Brent Burns.

Pam Anantr emerged as last year's standout resident, while Dita and Gero made their mark regionally. Transport has booked Running Hot, Telephones, Eternal Love and Romain FX, alongside UK acts Heels & Souls, Hand-Made and Sam Don. Its sets refuse to be pinned down by genre: they start slow, build into peak-time highs, then ease the tempo while keeping the floor moving.

The collective only throws a handful of parties each year, partly because juggling full-time jobs with something this elaborate is no small feat, and partly because fresh venues are hard to hunt down in the city. Chang Chui, a raw warehouse playground, has become its spiritual home.

Who's Playing

Rainbow Disco Club is entering its 17th year and has hosted international editions at clubs in New York, Paris and Singapore, including two upcoming collaborative parties, this one and another at WOMB in Tokyo.

Resident Advisor lists the night as "10 Years of transport with Rainbow Disco Club," set for Chang Chui Creative Park in Bangkok. Its bill names Kikiorix, DITA (ID), OMOLOKO, Pam Anantr, Jayja, Brent Burns, Seelie and Persual.

Earlier billing for the night had named BENEDEK, an LA and Tokyo producer, as headliner, making his debut for the party. That version of the bill had him sharing the stage with Transport residents Seelie, Brent Burns and Mr Mowgli, alongside Rainbow Disco Club's own Al Jones.

The Setup

Funktion One handles the sound, and Human Spectrum paints the walls. The visual crew designs, produces and builds visual worlds, not just to impress but to shape how people feel on a dancefloor, and counts more than ten members. Tickets run B900 to B1,400 through Megatix.
