EDC Thailand 2026 Dates: December 18-20, 2026 Venue: Rhythm Park, Laguna Phuket Tickets: GA 3-day from ฿10,490 ($319), VIP 3-day from ฿16,490 ($519), via thailand.edc.com. 20+ only.
EDC Thailand's first edition pulled roughly 150,000 people over three nights in January 2025, more than 50,000 of them flying in from outside the country. Eleven months later, Insomniac moved the whole festival to a bigger site. This December, for its third Thai edition in under two years, it's staying there: December 18-20 at Rhythm Park, on the northern end of Phuket near Laguna. What follows is what's actually confirmed, not the marketing copy: prices, the age limit, what gets you turned away at the gate, and where to sleep.
Getting Tickets
Three-day General Admission starts at ฿10,490 (about $319) at the current "Early Owl" pricing tier, with three-day VIP from ฿16,490 (about $519). Insomniac also sells single-day GA (฿4,700, about $146) and single-day VIP (฿7,700, about $239) for Friday, Saturday or Sunday separately, useful if you're only flying in for one headliner and not the whole weekend. A SkyDeck bottle-service tier exists for table bookings, though Insomniac hasn't published its price. Tickets have been on sale since June and are sold only through thailand.edc.com or its listed partner platforms. Everyone gets carded at the gate: the festival is strictly 20 and over, and you'll need a valid photo ID that shows your date of birth.
Who's Playing
The December bill leans on the names you'd expect from an Insomniac flagship: Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Dom Dolla headline, with Charlotte de Witte and Vintage Culture also confirmed. The stage worth watching if you actually follow the region is BOOMBOX, Insomniac's platform for emerging Southeast Asian acts. GUDFELLA, the Cebu-born, LA-based producer who released his debut single on Insomniac Records in August, plays there, one of the clearer signs that Insomniac is building a real local pipeline rather than just touring through.

Rhythm Park, and Why the Venue Keeps Moving
EDC Thailand has had three homes in two years, and each move has been about space, not spectacle. The January 2025 debut ran at Boat Avenue Lakefront in Bang Tao; the January 2026 edition shifted to the bigger Rhythm Park site specifically to fit the crowd it had outgrown. December stays at Rhythm Park. Thai promoter Future Vibes runs the event on the ground while Insomniac handles production and stage design, under a five-year partnership between the two companies, a long commitment for a festival that's existed for less than two years.
Hotel EDC and Where to Stay
For the first time outside Las Vegas, Insomniac is running Hotel EDC as an official resort takeover of Angsana Laguna Phuket, with EDC-themed rooms, shuttles straight to Rhythm Park, and its own pool parties and wellness sessions layered on top of the festival. A three- or four-night Hotel EDC package runs around ฿89,000. That's not cheap next to a GA ticket, but it buys you the logistics for the separately-booked pre-party too: EDM.com and EDM House Network both report Mau P, Loco Dice, FIFI and Baggi playing a beach set at XANA Beach Club on December 17, the night before gates open, though Insomniac's own lineup release is vaguer, describing a broader "Phuket Takeover Week" of pre-parties and beach events rather than naming one room. Mau P isn't on the official December 18-20 bill, so treat the pre-party as its own separate booking, not a preview.
Age Limit, Bag Policy and What's Banned
Doors run 15:00 to midnight each day, December 18 through 20. You need to be 20 or over with ID to prove it, no exceptions. Bags are capped at 12 by 6 by 12 inches (30 by 15 by 30cm), and at least one compartment has to be clear. Hydration packs are fine up to two main compartments plus one small pocket, but they have to be empty when you walk in. Compact and phone cameras are allowed; professional gear, meaning detachable lenses, tripods or big zoom lenses, is not. There's no re-entry once your wristband scans for the day, so plan your Hotel EDC shuttle around that. Thailand's drug laws carry real criminal penalties, and Insomniac's own policy is zero tolerance on top of that.
Getting There
Phuket International Airport (HKT) is the only airport that matters here; Rhythm Park and the Laguna hotel strip both sit a short drive north of it. If you're coming from a country on Thailand's visa-exempt list, note that the exemption window dropped from a temporary 60 days back to the standard 30 on September 15, 2026, which is plenty for a festival weekend but worth checking against your actual travel dates. Insomniac's site lists official shuttle and parking options under its guide section; book those ahead rather than counting on finding a taxi back to Laguna at 1am on a festival night.
