Ten Years In The Making. Amelie Lens Finally Has A Debut Album.
"This is the most honest version of myself I've ever shared."
That is how Amelie Lens describes Aura, her debut album. Not a collection of club tools. Not a label showcase. A record about a decade of her life told through eleven tracks of driving techno and her own voice. From playing tiny local clubs and driving herself through the night for gigs, to standing on huge festival stagse, becoming a mother, building EXHALE and learning how to balance it all in life.

Ten years. One album. Out 4 September 2026 on EXHALE Records.
What AURA Is
The 11 track LP arrives digitally and as a double LP pressed on blue and white vinyl, and its release coincides with the tenth anniversary of the Belgian artist's debut track 'Exhale' which arrived in 2016. The timing is not a coincidence. Everything about this record is hands down the real deal.
Crafted with both festival main stages and underground club floors in mind, the record pairs propulsive techno rhythms with Lens' own vocals, tracing the story of her rise over the past decade.

The full tracklist:
- aura_v4_final_intro.wav
- our frequency
- run
- the only one
- 4am at RSO
- drift away
- a track at 150bpm
- falling into acid dreams
- come closer
- the energy is us
- whatever you do
In her own words: "AURA is my story. It is about the connection between the crowd and me. Music has always been my escape, my way of turning my emotions and energy into something new. When I was younger, I would dissapear into nightclubs and create my own world in my head. Being in the nightclubs gave me this feeling of belonging somewhere, I felt connection and freedom I had never experienced before. That feeling changed my life completely. So this album really reflects that whole journey.
The Lead Single: our frequency
The lead single 'our frequency' is a sign of what to expect from the full album: pulsing, driving beats and basslines which give way to a spacious and uplifting synth melody, all before combining together to become something fit for both festival main stages and underground club dancefloors.
A club bubbler, the finessed techno producer shimmers in the summer light, the track becoming a call to arms for Amelie's after hours tribe. An ode to the transportive qualities of club culture.
It features Lens' own vocals, which runs as a thread through the whole album. This isn't a producer hiding behind the music. This is an artist stepping fully into the frame.
Why This Moment Matters
The Belgian DJ and producer is a key player in global club culture, headlining festivals on every single continent. She was voted number 38 in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll in 2025. In February 2025 she and fellow Belgian artist Charlotte de Witte released a joint EP titled One Mind, and in March 2026 she performed back to back alongside hard techno artist Sara Landry for the first time ever at Ultra Music Festival.
And yet somehow, after a decade of headline slots, her own label, and hundreds of releases, she had never put out a debut album. Until now.
By 2016 Lens had already built a growing reputation as one of the most formidable selectors on the underground. That year she introduced her debut three-track EP, Exhale, on Italian imprint Lyase Recordings, an early statement that captured the intensity of Belgium's underground scene. Ten years later, that name has evolved into EXHALE: a globally recognised label, event series and community platform that now stands at the forefront of contemporary techno.
The album dropping on the exact tenth anniversary of that first record is the kind of full-circle moment that doesn't happen by accident. Amelie Lens has been building toward this for a decade. AURA is what that looks like when it arrives.
AURA is out 4 September 2026 via EXHALE Records. Pre-order is live now at found.ee. The lead single 'our frequency' is out now on all platforms.
