Thailand's Sunju Hargun Plays Singapore's New Boat Quay Room Exit Reality on November 13

The Bangkok producer who builds most of his sound from Thai field recordings brings his psychedelic techno to Thugshop's newest Singapore room this month, alongside resident VAIBS.
Dates: Friday, November 13, 2026
Venue: Exit Reality, 66B Boat Quay, Singapore
Lineup: Sunju Hargun, VAIBS
Tickets: Via Eventbrite
Sunju Hargun builds roughly 90 percent of his music from Thai sounds and field recordings, by his own count, and he rarely plays a room that isn't unlit, half-finished or built into something older than the club itself, the kind of space most promoters wouldn't risk on a Friday. On November 13, the Siamese Twins Records co-founder adds Singapore's newest one to that list: Exit Reality, the boutique room Thugshop opened on Boat Quay in July.
A Room Built in the Dark
Exit Reality runs on a Funktion-One system under a grid of LED panels, with a terrace out back facing the Singapore River and the Marina Bay Sands skyline for when the dark gets to be too much. Entry is strictly 21 and up, ID required at the door. Since its July 17 launch the venue has leaned toward exactly the kind of hypnotic, late-night programming Hargun built his name on: a high-tech set from Shane Naz and EJ Missy, an all-nighter from the Philippines' deejfabian, residencies for its own vaibs.sri and ma_de_909. It's the same instinct that has taken Hargun to Japan's Rural and Labyrinth, to Houghton, Dekmantel and Magnetic Fields, and into rooms like Panorama Bar, Tresor and Sapporo's Precious Hall, while keeping a regular circuit through Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia.

The Golden Triangle is Hargun's first solo release on Siamese Twins Records, the label he co-founded. The Golden Triangle was crafted over two years. It was recorded entirely at TMM Studios in Bangkok.
Who's Playing With Him
Hargun shares the bill with VAIBS. It is a small booking on paper, one touring producer and one local resident in a venue that barely qualifies as mid-sized. It is also exactly the kind of night Exit Reality was built for: a 21-and-up crowd, a sound system taken seriously, and a DJ who has spent a decade making the case that Southeast Asia's own source material is enough.

Doors run 10:30 PM to 3 AM, with tickets via Eventbrite. The usual house rules apply: no ID, no entry, no smoking indoors, no illicit substances.
