The Best House and Techno Clubs in Bangkok, 2026 Edition
Bangkok lost half its landmark clubs in three years and came out stronger. From the Decho Road axis to Old Town's vinyl listening bars, here is where the city actually dances in 2026.
The list of Bangkok clubs that did not survive the last few years reads like a eulogy: De Commune, Never Normal, Glow, Curve, Eden, all gone. And yet walking down Decho Road on a Friday night in 2026, you would never guess the scene had been through anything. Bangkok's underground did not shrink, it consolidated, and the city now has one of the most interesting club geographies in Southeast Asia.
This guide covers the rooms that matter for house and techno right now, from proper dancefloors to the audiophile bars that make Bangkok unique in the region.
The Decho Road Axis
The unlikely epicentre of Bangkok's underground is a short stretch of Decho Road in the Silom and Bang Rak area, where three venues within walking distance cover almost the whole spectrum.
Mustache is the anchor: more than a decade in the game, a Void Acoustics rig, and a programme that has narrowed with intent, melodic techno and international house since the team dropped hard techno from the calendar in 2025. Covers run 300 to 500 baht with a drink included, Wednesdays plus weekends, smart casual at the door.
Subwerk is the counterweight: hard techno at 135 to 160 BPM, no tables, no dress code, a boiler-room-style floor that has become home to the city's biggest techno community. The venue has moved recently, so check their socials for the current address before you commit to a taxi.
FUCHSIA rounds out the strip, a multi-floor spot on a Void Acoustics system whose programming swings from drag shows to hip-hop, worth a house or techno head's time specifically on its dance-music takeover nights. Covers 350 to 700 baht.
Old Town: Vinyl and Hi-Fi
What separates Bangkok from every other clubbing city in the region is its listening-bar culture, concentrated in Yaowarat, Talad Noi and Phra Nakhon.
Bar Temp. in Yaowarat carries the torch of the much-missed Never Normal with vinyl-only house and techno, open Wednesday through Sunday with covers running from free to 700 baht depending on the night. Clutch in Talad Noi is the audiophile flex: JBL 4350 cabinets driven by McIntosh amplifiers inside a multi-floor warehouse, vinyl only, covers topping out around 300 baht. Culture Cafe on Sam Sen Road might be the best free night out in the city, a daily vinyl bar spinning minimal techno and deep house with 180-baht cocktails.
Over in Ekkamai, 12 x 12 has been doing this since 2014, a community-run room of about fifty people where house, techno, disco and jazz share the week.
Wildcards Worth Knowing
Elsewhere, a 58-capacity listening room on the ninth floor of Silom's Trinity Complex, is Bangkok's after-hours secret, peaking between 2 and 4 AM with bookings from the Perlon and Giegling orbit. Horn on Silom Soi 4 is the city's queer techno room, running collaborations with Berlin's Gegen crew. ETA hides behind a red clock on Sukhumvit Soi 26 with hard techno, acid and garage from 150 baht. INAKOMA on RCA is the budget rave: every Friday, 400 baht, well drinks included. And the one to watch is Berlin BKK, new for 2026 on the fifth floor of Ekkamai's Donki Mall, chasing a Berlin-style hard techno blueprint. BEAM, a long-running name, keeps a lower profile these days with an intimate room of minimal and alternative techno.

If You Go
Budget 300 to 700 baht cover at the proper clubs, usually with a drink included, and expect free or near-free entry at the listening bars. Almost everything closes by 3 AM, with Elsewhere the notable exception. Dress codes barely exist outside Mustache's smart casual. Lineups move fast and so do addresses, so treat Instagram as the source of truth the week you fly. BTS gets you to Silom and Ekkamai; the Old Town bars are a Grab ride from anywhere.
Bangkok's scene rebuilt itself around smaller rooms, better sound and local selectors. On current form, it is the most complete clubbing city in Southeast Asia.
