Bangkok's Mustache and Subwerk Reopen This Week, Solo First, Then Together
Mustache and Subwerk, the melodic-techno and hard-techno clubs sharing a building on Bangkok's Decho Road, reopen this week: solo nights Friday, a joint Two Clubs, One Ticket crossover Saturday.

Bang Rak's twin engine room on Decho Road is switching back on. Mustache and Subwerk share a building, and by extension a lot more than an address: Mustache books the melodic tech house and techno end of things, Subwerk handles the 140 BPM-and-up hard techno and psy-trance side, and the two have spent 2026 running a joint one-ticket night between them every few months. Both venues have been dark for weeks. This week, they're switching back on, as two separate parties before folding back into one.

Friday: Two Clubs, Two Floors, Two Tickets
On Friday, September 4, each venue runs its own night on its own floor, no crossover. Mustache brings back Jules Blons, Theo Del and Mateo Loco for a tech-house and melodic-techno set, presale 350 THB. Meanwhile Subwerk reopens with Mari Ferrari headlining hard techno, early bird tickets at 300 THB before the price jumps to 600 THB at the door. Two separate rooms, two separate ticket links, same building, same night.

Saturday: Two Clubs, One Ticket
Saturday, September 5 is when the shared ownership shows its hand again. Mustache and Subwerk run their recurring Two Clubs, One Ticket format, one wristband covering both floors, hard techno on one side and melodic techno on the other, no need to commit to a genre for the whole night. The concept isn't new, it launched with the venues' joint grand opening and has run further editions through the year, but this is the first since both rooms went quiet, and it's priced like a proper relaunch at 350 THB early bird, 500 THB at the door. Doors are 22:00 to 03:00, 20-plus only, ID required, and entry is subject to capacity, standard rules for a room that only fits so many people on two floors at once.
For a scene that's spent 2026 watching venues close rather than reopen, most recently Ho Chi Minh City's longest-running techno club, two Bangkok rooms coming back in the same week, with lineups already locked and prices already set, counts as a genuinely good week for the Bangkok club scene. It's also a fairly efficient pitch: show up once for the genre you already like, or show up twice and let the building make the case for the other one.
