Marquee Singapore Books Hard Techno's Nico Moreno to Open Its Biggest October Yet

Nico Moreno's set runs on distorted kicks, rave sirens and the kind of stage presence built for European warehouses at 4am. On Friday, October 2, it plays out on Marquee Singapore's Marina Bay Sands dancefloor, a room built for bottle service, confetti cannons and pop remixes.

On September 29, 2026, Bandwagon Asia reported the club's full October calendar, and Moreno's booking is the odd one out on it. Marquee's usual lane is commercial crossover, big-room drops and hands-in-the-air choruses, the kind of night that photographs well for the club's own Instagram. Booking a hard techno specialist who screams into red stage lighting for a living reads either as a genuine bet on the genre's crossover moment or a one-off stunt to get techno heads through the door once. The rest of the month suggests the club knows exactly what it's doing either way: it still stacks the calendar with the names that actually fill the room on a Saturday.

The Rest of October

NUSHA opens for Moreno on the 2nd. The next night, FISHER and Apollo Xo take the booth, tech house rather than hard techno but still a long way from a Top 40 remix set; FISHER's "Losing It" is a Grammy-nominated anthem that has passed half a billion streams. The weekend after that belongs to the booking Loopliner already reported on September 12: Diplo on the 9th, Anyma on the 10th and Martin Garrix closing out Singapore's Formula 1 race weekend on the 11th (full lineup here). Sick Individuals play October 24. Halloween gets two separate nights: HALO on the 30th with Matisse & Sadko, DubVision and Third Party, then a "Hotel Delirium" theme party on the 31st whose DJ lineup the club hasn't announced yet.

Who Is Nico Moreno

Born August 20, 1994, in Caen, France, Moreno built his name in the harder end of European techno, the tempo and distortion that Amsterdam's Awakenings and Belgium's Dour Festival have built entire stages around for years before Marina Bay Sands ever booked the sound. He founded his own label, Insolent Rave, in 2019; his track "Purple Widow" has since gone gold. His 2024 debut album has passed 43 million streams and he now counts more than 1.6 million monthly listeners across streaming platforms. In July 2025 he played the Main Stage at Tomorrowland, a slot that historically went to trance and big-room names almost exclusively. He's a regular at EDC, Dour, Awakenings, Kappa Futur Festival and ADE.

If You Go

Tickets and table bookings run through Tao Group's own site; neither door prices nor table minimums are published as of this writing, which is normal for Marquee's table-driven model but worth calling ahead about if you just want a door ticket. The club sits inside Marina Bay Sands, so budget time for the resort's own security and dress code before a headliner set starts. Singapore's MRT runs past 1am on the North-South and Circle lines on Friday and Saturday nights; after that, it's a cab home.
