An indoor, eight-armed Ferris wheel turns above the dancefloor at Marquee, inside Marina Bay Sands. It reads like marketing copy until you're standing under it near closing time, watching someone take a selfie through the webcam built into the pod wall. Marquee has never pretended to be a listening bar. DJ Mag just moved it up five places anyway, to No. 34 on the 2026 Top 100 Clubs list.

Where: The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 2 Bayfront Avenue, #B1-67, Singapore 018956 · Open: Friday and Saturday nights, plus the first Wednesday of the month and the eve of public holidays, 10pm to 6am · Entry: varies by night and headliner, see tickets · Music: mainstage international EDM, with occasional techno and hard techno bookings · Tickets: marquee.bigtix.io

The room

Marquee spans three floors under ceilings that climb 70 feet, built around a central stage framed by a star-shaped LED mandala and a scatter of mirror balls. The room holds 2,000 people across those three levels, run through a Funktion-One sound system behind a 20-metre 8K screen. Four bar zones ring the floor, with booth seating filling the gaps between them and private tables closer to the stage.

The Ferris wheel and three-storey slide were built into the room when it opened on April 12, 2019. They're still the detail that separates Marquee from every other club on the DJ Mag list: nowhere else in the region puts a fairground ride over a dancefloor. Marquee is TAO Group's fourth venue under that name, after Las Vegas, New York and Sydney.

Who plays there

Marquee's calendar leans toward mainstage EDM more than underground techno, but the booking has been stretching. French hard techno producer Nico Moreno opened Marquee's run of October bookings on October 2. A week later the room swung straight back to festival-scale names for Singapore's Formula 1 race weekend: Diplo on October 9, Anyma (the solo project of Tale Of Us's Matteo Milleri, fresh off Coachella and a Sphere residency) making his Singapore debut on October 10, and Martin Garrix closing it out on October 11 to a sold-out room, door tickets only. Eighteen months earlier, Marquee marked its sixth anniversary with a two-night bill of Dimitri Vegas and Steve Aoki, April 11 and 12, 2025.

Before you go

Marquee doesn't publish a dress code or minimum age on its own site or ticketing pages, so don't assume one. Check the club's Instagram before you commit to an outfit. Door tickets, when a show isn't sold out, run through marquee.bigtix.io, where prices move with the headliner: October's F1 weekend bill started at S$148 early bird and climbed to S$198 to S$448 for general admission, well above a regular night. The club sits inside The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, B1-67, a short walk from Bayfront MRT station. Trains stop running well before Marquee's 6am close, so budget for a cab or rideshare home.

Nearby

Zouk Singapore, across town in Clarke Quay, runs the room with more club-culture credibility in the same city; see Loopliner's guide to it. For the fuller spread, from basement techno to rooftop house, see Loopliner's guide to Singapore's best house and techno clubs.
