Zouk's main room can hold up to 1,939 people at once. That's one room. In June 2026, Zouk Group finished a multi-million-dollar renovation that lets the walls between Zouk, Phuture and Capital fold away entirely, turning three separate Clarke Quay venues into one complex that can hold 3,500 people when the night calls for it.

Where: 3C River Valley Road, The Cannery, Clarke Quay, Singapore 179022 · Open: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, plus the eve of public holidays · Entry: varies by night · Tickets: zoukgroup.com/singapore/zouk

The room

Zouk calls its main room the largest club in the complex, and on paper that's a dance floor built across multiple levels with pockets of booth seating wrapped around it, a custom Gary Stewart analog sound system and a neo-industrial look that leans into exposed steel over polish. The 2026 renovation, unveiled at a closed-door launch on June 17, added 12-metre LED walls, a redesigned main entrance and a VIP seating tier built in behind the DJ booth. Zouk Group CEO Andrew Li framed it as continuity rather than reinvention, telling Alvinology that the club has never stood still, evolving with the city and the people who come through its doors ever since its original Jiak Kim location.

What changed is modularity, not just decor. Zouk, Phuture and Capital can now run as three independent rooms or merge into a single floor with capacity for up to 3,500 people. Design firms Josh Held Design and Superlative led the work, and the brief, per the venue, was built around flexibility and scale rather than a cosmetic refresh.

Who plays there

Zouk's own booking calendar leans toward names that fill a room rather than cult DJ picks. Sebastian Ingrosso headlines the main room on November 21. Miss Monique plays December 11. Kaskade plays December 18. Odd Mob follows on December 19. Underneath those anchor dates sit recurring weekly concepts. TGIW runs most Wednesdays. Mainroom Presents takes over select Saturdays. November alone also brings Genesi on the 6th. 100% Bulletproof plays on the 13th. Mambo Jambo takes the 20th. Sin City closes out the month on the 27th. It's a mainstage-first booking policy, closer to a festival main stage than a listening room.

Before you go

The minimum age at Zouk and Phuture is 18, and the club checks: every guest needs a current, non-expired government photo ID regardless of how old they look, and there's no refund if you're turned away without one. The dress code at both rooms is looser than the main EDM-club stereotype, shorts and bermudas are fine, but covered shoes are mandatory and torn tops, singlets, sandals, slippers and tank tops aren't allowed in. Buy tickets only through the Events section of Zouk's own website or the Zouk app; the venue's FAQ is blunt about third-party sellers carrying a real risk of fraud and refused entry. The club sits inside the Clarke Quay entertainment strip on the river, walkable from Clarke Quay MRT, which matters more on a Saturday than it sounds: the strip gets loud and crowded by midnight, and you'll want to know which exit you're aiming for before you're three drinks in.
