Stay Golden Turned Bali's TOTEM Society Parties Into an All Day I Dream Album

Stay Golden spent years running an AR/VR multimedia business before discovering All Day I Dream at a 2016 Moscow party. He has since built TOTEM Society's parties on Bali and now has his own album on the label.

Stay Golden was running an AR/VR multimedia business when a party in Moscow rewired his career. It was 2016, and the event belonged to All Day I Dream, the melodic house label Lee Burridge had turned into one of dance music's most recognizable brands. A decade later, Stay Golden has his own album on that same label, built from the life he started over in Bali, the same label Lee Burridge himself brought back to Singapore's RASA Space on November 7.

Silent Covenant, his debut full-length, landed on All Day I Dream in late August 2026: seven tracks built around a theme he keeps returning to.

From AR Demos to the Decks

Stay Golden didn't start out behind a mixer. By his own account, he spent years building immersive AR and VR experiences for corporate brands before he began studying DJing seriously and eventually moved to Bali to chase music full time. The island already had Savaya and other clifftop and beach clubs pulling in international names. Stay Golden wanted the other side of the booth.

TOTEM Society

He didn't build it alone. TOTEM Society's lineup draws on Stay Golden and his fellow resident Jose, who perform together at the collective's parties. TOTEM Society's parties have run at Tabu, Savaya, Kabana and Tropical Temptation Beach Club, with later bookings adding Desa Kitsune and Café del Mar. A 2026 set recorded there for EDMID's Summer Sessions series previewed Silent Covenant tracks alongside music still awaiting release on All Day I Dream.

Silent Covenant

The album's first four tracks are Stay Golden's alone. From there it opens into collaborations with Alexey Union, Broken Hill, Kinky Sound, Ünam and Anticalm, plus a vocal feature from David LeSal. It's a guest list that points to the circuit he has worked quietly since his Moscow days. All Day I Dream has described the record as a shift for the label too: more funk-infused and groove-led than the ambient-leaning sound it's best known for.

Silent Covenant is out now on All Day I Dream, digitally and as a limited two-LP vinyl pressing, Stay Golden's first full-length release under the name he built in Bali.
