The spring edition, known as SW37, marks a significant milestone. After 18 years anchored to the Black Sea coast of Romania, the spring edition has crossed one border north along the same coastline. SW37 will be hosted in Golden Sands, Bulgaria, with the event organised by Kristal Club and Sunrise, and described by organisers as a continuation forward with full power, authentic setup, and the energy that only the SW crowd can generate. The dates run from 30 April to 5 May 2026, giving attendees five full days of non stop music along one of Europe's most scenic stretches of coast.

The autumn edition, SW38, tells a different story of expansion. Riding on the warmth of its Mediterranean experience over the past two years, Sunwaves will return to its beloved spot at Las Salinas in Roquetas de Mar, Spain, from 3 to 7 September 2026. Spain has now become the confirmed home for the end of summer editions, with organisers expressing genuine affection for the location and its local authorities.

Marco Carola, the Naples born DJ and producer, brings an entirely different but equally compelling energy.
